I'd miss when he would call out how ignorant a bitch was when they would call in and argue with their emotions instead of their logic (do chics even have logic?)

    and....

...the rest of the people that would call in with crazy shit. In the end (which is now or in a few months) the people made the show. Tom knew that so he would just feed the fire.

    Good times, Tom. Good times.
Don't get me wrong here, I don't want the show to be pulled of the air, but I can take a hint.

There is always TV, I mean cable TV, or an live broadcasted internet show.

Yeah an internet show with paid membership. He could have various attractive girls come in and demonstrate how brilliant and smart they are. Nothing like flash friday via the comfort of your home.

That Fucken bitch Kiko Dunce is back on !

He was pulled off the air here in Seattle. I am from Los Angeles and listened to him everyday in the car. Right after I moved to Seattle he was replaced with a country music station. I miss being entertained while sitting in traffic, or just driving to wherever I need to go. I miss a lot of his show now because I am only able to listen via the internet.

I live in the Fresno area and Tom only lasted for about six months, so I know what it's like to lose him. I started listening to his show during my long drives from San Diego to Lemoore and he always made the stop and go traffic so much better to deal with. He's just pure entertainment. I hate talk radio but love The Tom Leykis Show!!! Even when I don't agree with him, (which isn't very often) I can see where he's coming from.

I will miss the show a lot. I am also afraid that women won the battle. Remember, our new president was raised by single mother---and you know what this means.

When Tom goes off the air I will miss the TRUTH! We have NOTHING in the country that even comes close to the type of show Tom has produced. Entertainment, mental stimulation, knowledge of all kinds, and most of all, the truth about our stagnant, self-indulgent, hypocritical, under-achieving society. Best of all, he has a sense of humor about it all, coz after all, if we cannot laugh at ourselves, we might as well play a fixed game of Russian roulette. I absolutely LOVE Tom. And yes, I am a female. More so, I appreciate Tom for his ability to entertain and school us, as well as for his uncanny intelligence that one usually does not come across in his field. Oh, Tom... I am going to miss you... And for my benefit, I really do hope that you find another outlet for your show. Perhaps Sirius? I would purchase it if only to hear you again. This has been a truly sad day.

Actually Nick, if you read on you might see that not all of us are as unintelligent as you say. And you generally find fan's on the message board of a public figure. It's strange but it's a fairly common occurence. No one's been able to figure it out. *shrugs*

I haven't listened to Tom in years since the local affiliate here changed format and forced his show into a later timeslot. But I'll miss sitting in traffic on my commute home and having his banter take my mind off the fact that I'm....stuck in traffic! Even when I vehemently disagreed with him (which happened a lot) I was ALWAYS entertained. And during this horrifically shitty time we're going through Tom's was the voice of reason. I looked forward to hearing him give a forum for people to speak up about what they're experiencing. It affirmed that for as dire a straits as we're in, we're not in it alone.

Even though I haven't gotten to listen to his show live in a year or two, just the comfort of knowing he was THERE was solace enough. I'm going to miss that.
