Tom has given us way too much to just let it go like that! You may be asking yourself "what can I do to help?" Well here's the first step: go to facebook and join the "Bring Back Tom Leykis" group. What's that? You don't have a facebook? WELL MAKE ONE!!! This isn't about facebook or networking, this is about giving back to our father who has been here for us for OVER A DECADE!!! He's done all this for us and I think it's time for us to give back to him! Now make sure to join his group and not only that but invite all your friends. Make sure everyone knows what Tom means to us!!!!!

tom is the greatest. his opinions are like no one else. the tells it like it is and is unbiased. just like he said, when they hate him, he knows that he's doing it right. I was lucky enough to stumble upon his show one day when i heard 'kobe' style and it stuck. african tribal style too...i just heard that once and i had to listen to the show as much as i could. I love you tom. I tell my own dad when i'm listening to the radio..i'm listening to my other dad....my dad on the radio. going to miss you......

    Amen, brother.
Tom deserves a major radio award just for his Joshua (the CSUSCI student) call alone.

I agree with you guys...I can't believe all the douche bags raggin' on Tom, 101, his salary, worn out mantras, etc. They act like they know Tom personally. I first heard Tom here in the Seattle area back in '96 or '97. A friend told me to listen, as he saw me being a total pussy around women. Things changed for me after a few months. Now, physically, I'm disabled, have been since I was 14, and not very attractive. I used to think that was why women rejected me...boy, was I wrong. it's all about attitude & confidence. Since then, I have no problem getting trim. All my normal-looking friends still can't figure it out, even when I told 'em to listen to Tom. They still act like wussies around women, kissing their asses, giving teddy bears, cards and flowers, etc. At this point, I'm 50 and bang girls half my age. Haven't been with a girl over 40 in 13 years. Since the demise of the BUZZ in Seattle, I've had to listen to the tape-delayed show on KISW from 10PM to 2AM. I haven't been able to listen on-line, except for a couple times...not around my computer in the afternoon. I'm sure we'll hear Tom again, just a matter of time. Some guy said here that he'd bet his life that Tom won't be on the air ever again...hope he's got a gun or a rope ready. Thanks Tom, for showing a funny-lookin' crippled guy how to get laid!

this could'nt be anything other than some kind of "clean up".am i the only one? with the fame of your station and the money being made specificly for your shows, there is apsolutely no other reason!

Let's think about this whole thing. Tom is under contract to CBS until 2012, at a cost from $4 million to $12 million, depending on what source you listen to. Do you really think CBS is stupid enough to throw that away? Oh, hell no. Especially with talent that has the "draw" Tom does.

And they're not going to make their money by having Tom do voice-overs for dog food commercials, either. Remember, this is showbiz!

No, I think the return of Tom Leykis has already been carefully scripted, and is sitting safely in the CBS vault. The only question is wether Tom has read it yet.

Remember a few clues. Tom went off the air with great dignity - not drunk like Heidi and Frank. Tom is keeping this website, his myspace page, and the phone number. He'll be back, even if you have to subscribe to satellite radio. (No, I don't have any inside info about that, just speculation).

For those of you that missed Tom's last shows, go to www.radiotime.com and search for Tom Leykis. A lot of them are available for immediate listening.

And yes, I believe the return of Tom has been carefully scripted, and will run on a pre-aligned time line. If you recall, Tom himself said he would return to the air "when appropriate". That means, according to script, IMHO.

Many radio stations are doing format changes, and switching shows like mad during these challenging economic times. They're trying to get the shows that attract listeners - and advertisers. Many of the ads in my local market are trying to attract businesses to advertise in radio. Now, THAT'S desperate!

Tom is being held in reserve, my opinion only, as a CANNON for a comeback.

    Ha ha ha.
    Ha ha ha ha.
Oh...the guy who called wrestling fans people with three teeth(while a male caller giggled like a girl) is gone.
The guy who called lots of blue collar workers "losers" is gone.
Oh, I feel so sorry for his listeners.
Gee Tom, your head must have really exploded when Mickey Rourke won his Golden Globe award for his movie "The Wrestler."

Adam, Tom is not gone. He's popped up on Cartoon Network and regularly posts on his myspace page to keep in contact with his fans.

He's just wanting on the sidelines for the opportunity to pounce on pussies like you.

Sorry you were offended by the three-teeth remark. However, please do get your grill fixed man. Just because your addiction to crack rotted your teeth to oblivion, that's no excuse to not get the teeth fixed to make yourself more marketable to potential employers. In the meantime, go cash your unemployment check and continue on that downward spiral that is your life with your trusty six pack of PBR.

    freakin' loser

    Aztec, my grill is fine.
And BTW, I've had the same job for 25 years, so I'm not about to cash any unemployment check any time soon.
I know Tom is better than me because he doesn't watch wrestling-he listens to jazz and drinks fine wine.
Oh, excuse me because I enjoy something that yuppie guys who wear spandex pants when they go out bicycling and drive 50 mph down side streets in their BMWs and Benzs(because their manhood is nonexistant) don't watch.
The fact is, I used to really enjoy Tom's show until the last few years when, IMO-he started caiing many blue collar people losers and laughing about it, but maybe he didn't care that a large part of his audience are blue collar workers.
Maybe his six figure income and success finally went to his head.
But if you're ok with that, then I guess I can see why you stick up for him.
College isn't for everyone, and if Tom can't see that then I don't know what to tell him.
He should go back to the guy who focused more on Flash Fridays and How to get guys laid and stop compulsing on how much money people make or how they choose to earn a living.
I may become a fan again then.

Yes chrisdee, that is 100% true. How did you know? You must have connections in the radio biz. How did you find out that 95.5 would be the next to change formats?

oh and not to mention i talked to someone at the station i work for and i asked him about the return of the fm talk format in general and he told me "if a move like that were to be moved, it would be made before summer is over." i asked him what that meant and he said the same thing again, and said "that is the answer to your question." is that some kind of message? don't mean to sound dumb...
